Welcome to the world of Spirit Land, a massive multiplayer asynchronous web-based role playing game by FrhayWorks.

The Setting

So far we know almost nothing, there is a mysterious world ready to be explored, mysterious creatures to be fought, civilizations to be built.
The story will unveil given time and you could be an active part of it.

The World

Spirit Land is played on an hexagon based map where each cell represents a province ready to be colonized and exploited for its resources.
Each province is split into 10 portions of terrain, which define the cell biome, like plains, forests, hills, swamps and so on.
Terrain portions will define gatherable resources, inhabitant creatures and buildable structures.
The world of Spirit Land will evolve and grow with player actions, bring resources to a city and it will grow, or sabotage it by attacking its population to make it fall.
Initially a single world is planned and every player will be in it, but this could be subject to changes due to player base or necessity.

Game Mechanics

The goal of Spirit Land is to provide entertainment without being a time burden for players, and that's achieved with a daily action points (known as Time Units or TU) system, to allow users to play when they want or can.
At rollover each character will receive its daily dose of TU and will spend them to perform a variety of actions across the world map and the tactical adventures.
Characters will not interact in real time but this doesn't mean they will not interact at all: their action will shape the world they all have in common and more and more indirect interaction will be implemented.

Items and Resources

Spirit Land will count a large amount of resources, both raw and refined into more resources or items.
Players will be an active source of resources, which can be sold at city markets and refined by the population to produce buyable goods such as edible food, weapons and luxury goods.
Everything will come out in tiers, you will have a tier 5 fruit one day (it will be really juicy!) or a tier 3 sword, ensuring vertical progression.
Resources will appear in the city market to be bought and sold, enabling characters to play the merchant role, while cities will produce and transform raw into refined at its pace, and will also consume some resources to mantain the pouplation.
Refined resources bought by characters can be used to craft items, which will also have different quality levels inside the same tier.

Skills

In Spirit Land characters will level up and be able to invest in attributes and a skill tree including passives and actives.
After reaching certain skill tree milestones, characters will be able to unlock new high tier classes.

Account

Spirit Land is a FrhayWorks project and shares its account with the whole environment, starting at The Temple, where you register, login and manage your account.
FrhayWorks accounts are free to start and can be upgraded with a one time payment, giving you access to full features on every project at once, plus access to real money currency for additional features.
Spirit Land allows free accounts to play with no limit on achievable levels, the only difference between a free demo account and a full one is that demo accounts don't affect world status.
With a full account players will be able to access premium currency, called FKoins and they will be able to acquire them by trade with other full players for normal game currency.
This means that you can virtually have all the premium currency you want by paying for the account only once.
